WoW Patch 9.2.5: New map for Tirisfal - will the undead get a new scenario?

June 13, 2022

As the dataminers of found out, there is a small update for Undercity and the area Tirisfal with WoW Patch 9.2.5. Until Battle for Azeroth, the ruins of Lordaeron were home to the undead in World of Warcraft, but since the Alliance attack, Tirisfal has been considered contested.

With the upcoming WoW update, the area will apparently get a new scenario, which is probably about rebuilding. Not much is known about this quest line. All we know so far is that the toxic fog of the plague, which has made the city uninhabitable so far, will disappear with patch 9.2.5. The poisonous gases can no longer be seen, at least on the new map.

A new scenario for the undead?

There are two more exciting details that have been discovered in data for WoW Patch 9.2.5. For example, there is the hidden model of Calia Menethil. The Lightforged Undead is the successor of Sylvanas, who dropped the Forsaken and the Horde like a hot potato at the end of Battle for Azeroth. We suspect that Calia Menethil will make a brief appearance in a story quest or even scenario in patch 9.2.5. Fittingly, there are several new stations that play a role in the said quest series.

The WoW community hopes that the Forsaken will get a scenario in patch 9.2.5 that deals with the future of the undead in World of Warcraft (buy now )

. Perhaps the Forsaken will be allowed to return to Undercity soon. Players are also waiting for Calia Menethil to officially accept her role as the new leader of the undead.

However, Blizzard may also combine the scenario with a new tradition armor for the Forsaken. However, the developers have always released this quest line in pairs so far. If the undead get their tradition armor, then a second race will also be able to look forward to new race-specific outfits. At this point, of course, only the Night Elves come into question. Like the Undead, the Kaldorei have also lost their home in Battle for Azeroth.
