WoW: Mysterious green stuff is bugged and the developers already know it

June 13, 2022

With the release of WoW Patch 9.2

, you should actually be able to take the WoW quest "Mysterious Green Stuff" in Zereth Mortis in the southeast of the new zone. The emphasis is on "actually". This is because Mysterious Green Stuff is buggy and has been driving players crazy since the patch was released.

The quest itself, Mysterious Green Stuff, is displayed on the world map of Zereth Mortis. However, if you arrive at the corresponding coordinates and kill the little ghost Koh Shira at 60/70, you will find nothing; the mini-map also lacks any indication of the whereabouts of the NPC, who simply does not want to appear. The fact that Mysterious Green Stuff doesn't work in WoW (buy now )

has now also reached the WoW developers.

Mysterious green stuff is too mysterious for WoW fans

On the World of Warcraft EU forums, customer service representative Arythwinn writes: "We have received several reports of this issue and can confirm that it [Mysterious Green Stuff] is not working as intended. At this time, we are unable to provide a workaround or solution for the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience while our developers work as quickly as possible to resolve the issue."

WoW Patch 9.2.5: What changes in the upcoming update? - Overview

Patch 9.2.5 of WoW is all about cross-faction gameplay and season 4, but aside from that, there are a lot of changes we have to introduce you to!

So there is only one standard answer. Arythwinn's response to the request for Mysterious Green Stuff and its NPC came on Sunday, March 6, 2022, so if we're lucky, a solution may have landed on the WoW servers by the time of EU maintenance on March 9, 2022, so you can complete the quest. Until then, you'll have to be patient.
