WoW: TBC Classic - Blizzard on Caves of Time port and limited recipes

July 29, 2021

The developers of Blizzard have made small changes in the beta of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic, which were confirmed by Community Manager Kaivax in the official WoW forum in the last few hours. Post number 1 is about the NPC Zephyr, who was in Shattrath for a long time in the beta, but is no longer.

Zephyr is important because he provides a convenient port to the Caverns of Time from the Outland capital. The underground area in Tanaris is again important in the TBC era because we get to enter the Foothills of the Ancient Hills and Black Morass dungeons, which play an important role in the Karazhan Attunement

, among other things. From phase 3 onwards, the Hyjal Peak raid challenge awaits us in the Caverns of Time.

In the original Burning Crusade, Zephyr didn't end up in Shattrath until a later patch, and the NPC won't be available to us in Burning Crusade Classic either, according to Kaivax:

"I've struck Zephyr from the Beta notes post. She will not be available early in Outland.

We're going to keep her in mind as we consider similar potential additions through the phase progression of Burning Crusade Classic."

Post number 2 is again about the offerings of some Outland merchants. The community manager explains that recipes like Transmute: Primal Power

, which had limited availability in the original Burning Crusade, will be purchasable in unlimited quantities in TBC Classic and bound when picked up.

On the forums, players are now complaining that you can no longer sell the recipes to other players. Others are happy that they don't have to pay a fortune for limited recipes now. What do you think about the changes?
