WoW: New pets from the Sanctum of Domination - including Mythic-Only-Pet

August 13, 2021

In the upcoming patch 9.1, we will finally be able to bring the war to the dungeon master's territory and attack him directly in his Sanctum of Domination - this is the name of the new raid, in which nine other boss battles await our heroes in addition to Sylvanas. Great items and one or two mounts await them as loot. But the trip to the Sanctum is also worthwhile for pet fighters. There are four different pets waiting for you - one cuter than the other. However, if you want to get all of them, you should have a powerful raid group behind you - because one of them will probably only be captured in mythical mode.

But before the outcry starts that Blizzard is now hiding pets behind what many players consider insurmountable bosses, the mythic version of the pet, the Eye of Extinction, is simply a different colorway of the pet Eye of All Sight. Both can be captured from the Eye of the Dungeon Master, the mint green one in all difficulty levels, the red one only in mythic mode.

Besides the two eyes, there are two more pets to capture. The Packing Gauntlet should be very popular due to its appearance. The running hand will most likely be available from Soulflayer Dormazain, the fifth boss in the raid - on all difficulty levels.

Kel'thuzad, on the other hand, is where you'll get arguably the cutest pet from the Sanctum of Domination: the Mawbound Servant. A sort of mini-servant of the Dungeon Master that, if you're lucky, will be yours when you defeat the fourth boss in the Sanctum of Domination.

Which pet from the Sanctum of Domination do you like the most, and how do you feel about at least one pet only dropping in mythic mode?
