It's been a little over two weeks since Blizzard officials told us in this forum post when and how the launch of Phase 2 for WoW: Burning Crusade Classic would be conducted. That post by Community Manager Kaivax stated, among other things:
"Also this week, Phase 2 content will begin unlocking in all regions worldwide at the same time: Thursday, September 16 at 0:01 CEST. This is also when the Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la content will become available, and also when the Serpentshrine Cave and Fortress of Storms will open their doors."
Yesterday evening, September 14, another post went online on the official WoW website, with which the developers want to inform us about what is currently happening in the different versions of World of Warcraft (buy now € 14.99 ). Of course, the start of phase 2 of TBC Classic was also a topic there. And what does it say?
"On September 15 at 0:01 CEST, two additional raids will be released simultaneously on all realms worldwide. These raids will host two of Illidan's powerful lieutenants:"
So, what's it supposed to be? The 15th or the 16th of September? And why did two Tier Tokens drop on each of the bosses in Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Chamber on the TBC Classic servers as early as September 14 (!)? Actually, that's a new addition linked to Phase 2.
Confusion grew when nothing happened at 0:01 on September 15. Instead, Battle.net now says that there will be a server restart between 09:00 and 10:00. Will the rest of the Phase 2 content be unlocked then? No one knows for sure. But of course we will keep you up to date.
