At the beginning of July, Blizzard had tried something on the Battlegrounds of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic
: For the first time, Horde players were allowed to face off against Horde players in Warsong Gulch and Co. The result: instead of having to wait an hour for a BG match, invites popped up after a few seconds. Even for arena matches, you had to wait longer in some cases. This makes the honor grind a lot more fun!But the test (and with it the joy) only lasted a few days. For the ID change, the player search was reset to its normal configuration. The waiting times for a Battleground match rose to the old level again, which caused many players to lose their motivation for PvP.
